Feral felines flood downtown during annual mystic krewe Mardi Gras parade

A group of wild cats paraded down Washington Street Saturday evening as part of the annual Mystic Krewe De Who parade. Krewe members dressed in a variety of feline-inspired costumes celebrated the theme of this year’s parade — Feral Cats: The Musical — a satirical take of the popular Broadway show and recent movie.

“If you think ‘Cats’ was bad at the movie theater, you should see this parade,” one of the Krewe De Who revelers said Saturday night.

Above are photos from Saturday night’s event.
