Bret G. Adams

May 26, 1958 – June 26, 2020

“Between a man and his wife nothing ought to rule but love.” — William Penn
So, it was with Bret and his wife Jeanine. Their love ruled and transcended sickness and daily challenges. At times they and their family experienced the closeness that only love can give.
There were times of laughter, a caring smile, a kiss, a prank or joke, an outing of a picnic or dinner and even an occasional bingo game, or four-wheeler riding in the woods and family celebrations. All these were precious shared memories of this couple’s friendship and love for each other and their children and grandchildren. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and automotive restorer.
Though Bret has taken his final promised rest from this life, the memories of a life well spent linger with us.  His love for his wife and family reminds us that they too cared and loved him unconditionally.
Bret was a retired lifelong resident and businessman of Adams County. He was the owner of Natchez Body Shop on Highway 61 North in Natchez, Mississippi.
He is preceded in death by his aunt-in-law, Mary Louise Curry.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Jeanine Evans Adams, the love of his life, and six children. Three daughters: Christie D. Boudreaux Fair and husband Richard Fair, Mandy N. Adams and boyfriend Calvin Murphy, Jessica E. Bruce and husband Tyler Bruce. Three sons: Michael J. Evans, Richard E. Evans, and Matthew C. Evans, six grandchildren: Brandon Boudreaux, Caitlyn Boudreaux, Cullen Boudreaux, Nicholas Eliser, Brayden Bruce, Mason Bruce and a baby great-granddaughter on the way.
